On September 26, 2025, a topping out ceremony was held at construction site of Alfa Park 6A development in Gdańsk. This event marks symbolic completion of structural works and represents an important milestone in project’s progress.
Tradition of topping out ceremony has long accompanied construction industry in Poland and across many European countries. Placing a wreath or decorated structure at highest point of building originally served as an expression of gratitude to carpenters and builders for safely completing framework. Over time, custom has taken on a more symbolic meaning, representing good fortune and best wishes for future residents or users of building.
Today, topping out ceremony also provides an opportunity to thank all individuals and teams involved in project, designers, engineers, construction workers, and partners whose commitment and collaboration ensure smooth progress of works.
Topping out of Alfa Park 6A marks an important step in project’s schedule. The next stage will involve finishing works, bringing us closer to completion of construction and handover of buildings to their future residents.
